			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are several diseases that are associated with obesity.  Due to the fact that there 34% of Americans are considered to be obese, this is something that we should all be aware of.  If we are not suffering from obesity ourselves, we at least know someone that is.  This makes us all potentially at risk in one way or another for disease.  One of the diseases that is associated with obesity is diabetes.  Diabetes is a disease that poses the number one cause of those that get the disease is the fact that they are overweight.  Diabetes is a disease that is initiated when one does not produce a sufficient amount of the insulin hormone.  This in turn, causes them to have to provide their bodies with the insulin hormone that it needs manually.</p>
<p>Another one of the diseases that an individual is subject to getting on the basis of obesity is congestive heart failure.  This is a disease that that is acquired if the body begins to have a hard time pumping the necessary blood to the organs in the body.  The heart muscles may also be overworked as a result of obesity, causing there to be an enlarged heart.  Another illness that can be forced upon an individual if he or she does not have the capacity to have the proper blood flow throughout their body is a stroke.  A stroke is the result of there not being allowed for the proper flow of blood to the brain cells.  The insufficient blood flow could very well be the cause of obesity. </p>
<p>A disease that can be acquired as a result of obesity is osteoarthritis.  This is one of the diseases that has an effect on the physicality of the body.  When people contract this disease as a result of obesity, it is because the excessive weight puts too much pressure on the joints.  This is one of the more chronically painful diseases that may be obtained from obesity due to the fact that the inflammation in the joints that results is rather difficult to manage.</p>
<p>Pulmonary embolism is one of the diseases that a person may experience as a result of obesity.  Pulmonary embolism is a disease in which the arteries are affected.  The arteries become blocked due to the fat that is now built up on the arteries.  It is said that in conjunction with the fact that the person has taken a high fat intake, the other aspect that represents the reason why many get diseases such as this is because they are not active enough.  They are not working off the fat that builds up on the arteries are other parts of the body.  Another one of the diseases in which the fat consumption may cause a devastating effect on the body is fatty liver disease.  Fatty liver disease is when there is a build up of fat that is accumulated on the liver cells.  Unfortunately, this is one of the diseases that, once acquired, is not reversible.</p>

You can bet that every couple of months, even by accident, you will hear the detail of the latest, new diet, that, just like all of them, is proven to work the best.  Nevertheless, we all have reached a point in our lives where we have discovered that diets are highly subject to the individual.  This means that a diet is most effective if carried out according to what works best in proving the best results for the individual.  What also comes with this aspect of diets is that they do not work for everyone.  No matter how much a particular diet is said to be proven to produce whatever results there are that they are advertising, we all have different body types.  So every diet will affect us all in different ways.</p>
<p>But it is also safe to say that some diets fail to work because the individual has not given forth full effort to practice it in the full degree.  This is a component that also highly motivates how effective diets are.  One of the most popular diets that is being talked about right now is &#8220;No Meat Mondays.&#8221;  This is a diet that states that by cutting out meat one day of the week, your body will be positively affected.  This is not one of those diets that is slated to allow you to loose 50 pounds over the course of a few months, but it is said to present some changes in your body in terms of weight loss.  This is a diet that is often said to serve as the start and a motivator for future eating habits that present using your ability to get into a routine and make healthy eating choices.</p>
<p>Not all diets are designed to make a person loose weight.  There are some diets that are strictly design with the goal of allowing the individual to be able to live a healthy lifestyle.  In return, the diet may cause an individual lose weight, but that is not the soul intended focus of the diet.  Ultimately, if we live right, we tend to look right, and feel right.  Diets are just one of the major forces that help us to get there.  For many, they are the key source of living healthy, and are valued as such.  No matter who we are and what size we are, it is certainly in our best interest to use healthy eating choices, whether we choose to do so strictly for dieting purposes or not.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all have seen the nutritional facts label listed on our store brought food item, but for the average person, there are some products that people never venture off to look at the nutritional facts label.  This is largely due to the fact that the average person has not been raised and taught to do so during their upbringing.  Certain products are felt to be so essential to every household, that people do not dare to look at the nutritional facts label.  They figure, there is no way that I can go without having this product, whether its value falls in line with nutrition, or not.  So they continue to use that product in any and all of their foods whether or not it is a good source of nutrition.</p>
<p>There has been more emphasis placed on looking at the nutritional facts label nowadays in order to determine what qualities are being found within the food.  This is because the federal and state governments have started to take forward initiative in endeavors to get and keep the American people.  One of the ways that they have been able to do so is by requiring that particular food industries place the nutritional facts on their items.  So that people are aware of the fact of whether or not there is any form of nutrition in the foods that they consume, this is a new sanction that has been imposed.</p>
<p>Some of the nutritional facts that are listed on a nutrition facts label are the amount of calories, the total fat, cholesterol, the amount of sodium, the total carbohydrates in the item, any dietary fiber, sugars, the amount of protein, the percentage of calcium, the percentage of iron, and the vitamins that it contains.  Many experts have found that people will try to maintain a certain level of nutrition if they know what is in their food.  If the amount of nutrition is listed in every food that they consume, they are able to make the proper choices by choosing foods that contain more nutrition.</p>
<p>Although independently looking at the nutritional facts labels in order to see whether or not a food contains any nutrition, or the amount of nutrition that is sought out is a good approach to presenting the general public with a vehicle by which they can use to be healthy, many believe that there is more that should be done in this effort.  Many believe that nutrition is just like any other value, in terms of the fact that it starts at home.  They believe that the very best way to assure that people are going to be able to grow to concern themselves with nutrition is if they are taught to do so when they are a small child, and if this is positively reinforced throughout the course of their lives as a minor in the household.</p>

Some are able to make this discovery earlier than others, but it is better late than never.  To realize the value of healthy living, is to realize the importance of taking the necessary steps and precautions in order to assure that you will live a healthy life.  Healthy living may be translated in a number of different ways.  Living a healthy lifestyle means that you take the initiative to achieve is going to be a benefit that is great for your mind, body, and soul.</p>
<p>Living a healthy lifestyle constitutes as a number of different things.  One of the aspects that serves as very helpful in maintaining healthy living is practicing healthy eating habits.  When you practice following a healthy diet, you are able to supply your body with the proper nutrients that it needs.  This is not only a plus for the organs of the body, but this type of healthy living is often favored for the effect that it has on the physical appearance.  This adds to another beneficial component of living a healthy lifestyle.  That is, if you look healthy, you will often feel healthy.</p>
<p>Another component to healthy living is staying active.  When people think of healthy living, they often avoid the concept all together because they feel as though it is synonymous with exercise, but that is not always the case.  There are alternate healthy options that one can utilize in order to maintain a healthy body.  Besides exercising, one can engage in activities that keeps the body active on a frequent basis.  In this regard, one of the healthy alternate activities that is most frequently used is taking the time out to go out for a stroll.  Many people like to walk and explore new horizons.  Therefore, this does not have to be viewed as hard core exercise, but a way to enjoy keeping your body active.  Another alternative that people will indulge in when seeking out healthy living options is to partake in sporting activities of their choice.  This a great alternate.  Many people have come to utilize some of the more simple, day to day influences in developing healthy living tips.  Many have come to use what they do on a daily basis in order to keep their bodies active.  Such examples of this are taking the furthest parking spot, and walking the length of the field to the entrance of the store.  Another example of this type of activity is, utilizing part of a lunch break to jog in place.  There are a number of different approaches that one can take to living a healthy lifestyle, so it is up to you to do what works best in making you feel, and even look, healthy.</p>
